The reform of the research and development system in the hospital is based on the hospital's research units and the development strategy of “cultivate trees for a forest.” A prospective research center was set up by recruiting outstanding researchers at home and abroad to create a premium clinical research environment. In combination with university resources, the department has enhanced and ensured the whole hospital's capacity and quality of clinical research, integrated basic and clinical translational medicine research, and focused on localization and quality research, in order to become a first-class research institution at medical center level.
